There are lots of betting systems that float around: you can buy some of them, you can take for free some of them, you can hear some from the rumors and you can even create some by your own. There are betting systems that are really silly and don't have any mathematical sense. But perhaps such betting systems are worth few seconds of your attention.

Classical betting: Martingale system

The Martingale system was always criticized by lots of gamblers that couldn't get the point why they have to double a bet when the players are on the edge and begin to feel a nearer loss. This negative betting progression makes sense because of its popularity among gamblers. But you still have to remember that you won't play for a very long run using this kind of betting systems: you can totally lose if you always stick to this betting tactic.

Negative and Positive betting

Players have to increase the bets, when they are losing and decrease them when they win, using a negative progression. It seems to be a little bit silly, but there are lots of variations of betting systems that are very popular within the whole gambling world: the D'Alembert System, the Labouchere System. Besides, Martingale System also belongs to negative betting.

Positive betting is a system when you have to play more when you win and bet less when you lose. It seems to be very simply, but if you start using it, you'll meet a difficulty to control yourself and not to risk a bankroll. You have to progress the bets slowly. If you shrink them - it must also happen not suddenly, but systematically. The 1-3-2-6 System, the Parlay System and the Paroli System belong to this kind of progression.

Benefits of Cancellation system

This type of betting systems manipulates a probability of winnings. But every gambler has to be maximally attentive here and perhaps even learn all the steps. The main goal is that a gambler has to win 10 units which are written on the paper in the form of 1s (1111 etc.) which he/she crosses off if a bet is successful. If not, the gambler writes down the sum of bet lost on the right side of the units. There are 5 main steps that every gambler will have to make and at the end come back to the original first action.
